Spanish financial services provider Banco Santander has entered a partnership with international payment services provider AirPlus International to launch new corporate expense management and payment products, online media outlet dofonline.co.uk reports.

The new payment products include the Santander AirPlus corporate card, the Santander AirPlus Corporate card compact and the Santander AirPlus company account, the same source indicates.

According to the same source, the Santander AirPlus corporate card is set to provide companies with management of travel and business expenses. Furthermore, organisations can control card allocation, cash access and expenditure limits through AirPlus’ state of the art online Business Travel Portal.

In recent news, the Brazilian division of Banco Santander is set to launch a venture to process credit card transactions “as the government seeks to break a duopoly in the industry and trim fees”, according to Reuters, citing a source familiar with the plan.
