Global provider of payment services, Worldline creates and manages digital payment and transactional solutions that foster sustainable economic growth. Its solutions are designed to be eco-friendly, easily accessible, and conducive to social transformation.
Through their collaboration, Worldline and GPX Logistics want to implement an augmented payment solution in the French overseas departments and territories, as well as mainland France. Their solution will facilitate the different agencies within the GPX Logistics Group to gather customs duties, taxes, and fees for express transport services, all via a user-friendly smartphone.
In the French overseas departments and territories, GPX Logistics Group agencies frequently collect customs duties, taxes, and fees for express transport services at the time of delivery. To address this operational requirement, GPX aimed for a more simplified and cost-effective alternative to conventional electronic payment terminals (EPTs).
In January 2025, Worldline teamed up with Wix to upgrade online commerce and payment solutions for businesses in Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
This partnership combined Wix's platform for creating and managing an online presence and commerce tools with Worldline’s integrated payment acceptance, featuring localised acquiring options. Together, they aimed to offer merchants a comprehensive solution. This collaboration was designed to enable Worldline's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to build, manage, and grow their online presence, while also enabling Wix users to access local payments and banking solutions tailored to meet customer needs, demands, and expectations.
The decision to partner with Wix was announced shortly after Worldline extended its alliance with KBC/CBC for six years. The agreement allowed Worldline to continue providing issuing and transaction processing solutions in Belgium, focusing on co-creation and adapting services to align with KBC’s development goals and customer needs.
