Following this announcement, Worldline and Tabesto are expected to combine their expertise and suite of solutions in order to launch an all-in-one, secure, and efficient ordering and payment kiosk by leveraging the SoftPOS `Worldline Tap on Mobile` technology.
The strategic deal is set to deliver an overall improved customer payment experience by meeting their needs, preferences, and demands in an ever-evolving market, while also prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry.
By incorporating a secure payment application into the Tabesto app environment, the `FOX` ordering and payment kiosk is expected to integrate and become an efficient and easy-to-use payment terminal. The product will be equipped with an NFC sensor at the bottom of the screen, while also giving customers the possibility to benefit from acceptance of transactions via contactless bank cards or with the use of a PIN code on the screen, meal vouchers, as well as NFC-enabled e-wallets.
The solution is set to be launched in 36 countries around the world and it was developed in order to significantly reduce client wait and provide them with a new, optimised, and safe ordering and payment experience. By reducing the overall traditional equipment such as ticket printers and payment terminals, both Worldline and Tabesto will focus on providing restaurant and retail operators with the opportunity to simplify their operational management, optimise their carbon footprint, as well as to reduce the associated costs.
In addition, the partnership between Worldline and Tabesto is set to support the overall digitalisation of the restaurant and retail sectors of the industry, as well as accelerate their development and growth in the market.
