Payment technology provider Tribe Payments has announced that its solutions are available on Temenos Exchange, a partner ecosystem of integrated fintech services.

The Tribe Core platform will be integrated into the Temenos platform, enabling customers to improve and expand their card offerings. Tribe’s modular payments technology aims to provide fintechs, large banks, and corporates with solutions to their issues, regardless of their size.

Payment technology provider Tribe Payments has announced that its solutions are available on Temenos Exchange, a partner ecosystem of integrated fintech services.

Temenos Exchange provides pre-integrated and approved fintech solutions that can be deployed in addition to Temenos’ open platform for composable banking, allowing banks to accelerate the development of new financial services, while also reducing costs and resources.

The integration’s capabilities

According to officials, Temenos Exchange intends to act as an accelerator for fintechs and software developers, helping them create, validate, and monetise new banking solutions. By integrating with Temenos and joining Temenos Exchange, Tribe Payments can be available to the banks globally that are currently operating on the platform. Representatives from Tribe stated that the integration also solidifies their commitment to support the banking community.

Considering that the number of fintechs looking to become both an issuer and an acquirer is increasing, Tribe aims to support them by combining its products with cloud-based API-led technology. Through this, clients can build, customise, and deliver programs at speed without reducing the quality. Moreover, Tribe’s technology is developed in-house and, due to constant refactoring, it is continuously updated, learning from current market behaviours and adapting to them.

The acquirer processor solution enables regulated acquirers to manage their merchants, either digitally or physically, including by having access to Risk Monitor, a fraud management system, and Tribe’s proprietary 3D Secure system. The company provides services that create multi-channel payment experiences that suit the portfolio or merchants. Tribe’s issuer processor card management system offers customers control over their programs, whether virtual, physical, or tokenised, BIN management, card files delivery, and its Open Banking facility. Through its white-label digital banking solution, Tribe offers its customers a method to deliver a full digital payment experience, merging front-end wallet capabilities for end-users to administrate cards, bank transfer, and crypto payments, with back-end features that support banking services.

More information about Tribe Payments

With its operations based in the UK, Tribe Payments is a digital payments and infrastructure orchestrator that leverages several solutions to offer its customers a vast ecosystem of products. The company’s core platform provides both acquirer and issuer processing, being connected to major card schemes, including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB, and UnionPay.

At the end of December 2022, Tribe Payments partnered with PayNice to offer risk monitoring solutions for the latter’s merchant customers. Through this collaboration, PayNice intended to provide an extra layer of transaction security, as Tribe’s Risk Monitor tool was developed to consider each data point of a transaction. This enabled PayNice to complete risk-based decisions in real-time, at the individual transaction level.
