Following this announcement, the digital bank is expected to continue the process of building its infrastructure for worldwide payments and money transfers. The partnership will also lay out the foundations for TBC Bank Uzbekistan to introduce Mastercard cards and additional payment services, international purchases, as well as money transfer capabilities.
In addition, both financial institutions will continue to focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of clients and users in an ever-evolving market, while prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry as well.
Throughout this partnership, TBC Uzbekistan also plans to launch Mastercard cards that will give customers the possibility to securely and efficiently use global marketplaces such as Amazon, as well as to provide the convenience of having single bank cards for domestic and international use. At the same time, as part of the strategic deal, the firms also aim to give clients access to a suite of loyalty scheme rewards, such as cashback bonuses and other perks.
According to the press release, TBC Uzbekistan is set to continue to expand the product offering that is available as part of its digital banking ecosystem. This also includes Payme, a digital payments application that was developed for individuals and small businesses, as well as Payme Nasiya (Payme Instalments), an instalment credit business. Furthermore, all Mastercard products are expected to be wholly integrated into the wider product offering within the TBC Uzbekistan ecosystem.
