More information on the announcement

Officials from the company noted on the surging popularity of smartphone and digital wallet transactions in SA, as well as the overall driving force behind allowing its enterprise customers to accept digital wallet transactions from all major providers. This procedure has also been enabled by leveraging a pre-built software development kit(SDK).

The company developed an SDK bundle in order to make it easier for teams to integrate and launch these services so they can deliver an even more secure and fast online checkout experience for their users and clients. By using the Stitch SDK, the correct wallet will automatically be surfaced to clients at checkout, a process that is based on their device type.

At the same time, with its smartphone wallet solution, Stitch also gave enterprise merchants and traders the possibility to offer access to all three popular wallet providers through a single, fast, and effective integration procedure. Existing Stitch card clients and users will be enabled to add smartphone wallets to their integration, while new customers will be allowed to request access from the user solution team.

The Stitch card tool will make it easier for enterprise businesses to process card transactions and increase conversion with the built-in redundancies through multiple direct bank integrations and optimised user experiences. The solutions will also give businesses the capability to improve and customise authentication and 3DS so that they can minimise drop-off risk and maximise acceptance rates.
