Following this announcement, Revolut Business merchants and traders in the UK will have the possibility to accept American Express Cards as a payment methods for ecommerce, including through Revolut Gateway, Payment Links, and Tap to Pay on iPhone payments - with the intention of launching more in-person payment solutions later this year.
In addition, Revolut is set to enable its businesses to gain access to American Express’ higher spending, and premium clients, while also supporting the overall development of the latter’s merchants network in the region of the UK. Both financial institutions will continue to focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of users and customers in an ever-evolving market, while prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the local industry as well.
Through the addition of American Express, Revolut Business is set to offer seven payment methods for merchants at their checkout.
