GoCardless joins forces with Celigo

Bank payment company GoCardless has entered a collaboration with Celigo, an integration and automation platform, to advance its development via indirect channels. 

In a bid to support its expansion, GoCardless joined forces with Celigo, a company working towards simplifying how firms integrate, automate, and optimise processes. As part of their partnership, GoCardless is set to utilise Celigo’s integration platform (iPaaS) to develop integrations between its payment platform and the back-end systems usually leveraged by businesses. Through this, the company aims to benefit from additional opportunities to acquire customers in the markets it operates in, without being required to build tailored integrations into several platforms.

Additionally, the Celigo platform utilises artificial intelligence (AI) and prebuilt integrations to maintain the efficiency of mission-critical processes, working towards improving how its clients and partners run their operations.  

What are GoCardless and Celigo’s plans?

The collaboration is set to also enable businesses to incorporate GoCardless bank payments into their software, including finance and procurement tools, as well as shipping and fulfilment platforms. This aims to enable merchants to automate and optimise business processes whilst receiving an accelerated, more convenient, and more efficient way to get paid. According to GoCardless’ officials, the alliance with Celigo plans to support the company in plugging into multiple apps, providing bank payments to potential customers globally.

Furthermore, representatives from Celigo underlined that, by leveraging iPaaS, GoCardless can deliver improved payment solutions to more customers, while also minimising its internal effort. The company intends to support GoCardless in its commitment to offer simplified payment experiences and increased value to its customers as it expands its operations across more markets.

The current news comes shortly after GoCardless announced its collaboration with the Federation of Small Businesses, with the two organisations being projected to offer members and partners access to tips and advice to optimise how they address late payments.
