Comerica Incorporated Turns to Kronos to Increase Productivity and Improve Business Processes

Comerica Incorporated, has gone live on Kronos Workforce Central suite. Comerica selected Kronos solutions as part of an intense focus on increasing productivity and continually improving business processes.
Comerica leverages the time and labor, automated scheduling, and labor analytics functionality within Kronos Workforce Central suite. Comerica also uses a Kronos data collection kiosk application to collect job, volume, and time data from employees. The data empowers frontline managers with real-time information, allowing them to make faster and more informed decisions that lead to continuous improvements within bank operations. Comerica first deployed the solution in its Michigan check-processing operation, which facilitates the processing of 1.8 million checks each day. Comerica also utilizes Kronos integration tools to seamlessly integrate performance data from other systems with Workforce Central, allowing a composite view of each employees activity in one solution. Comerica leverages employee security-based access cards to acknowledge arrival at a touch-screen kiosk, which generates a screen specific to the job functions each employee is qualified to perform. By tracking employees based on activity, Comerica is better equipped to staff each functional area based on work load.
