The new Dual Pricing Programme will enable customers to opt between a cash price and a regular one. Historically speaking, paying by cash has been more advantageous for the consumer as it does not factor in a credit card processing charge. The option also benefits businesses, as they can maintain the entirety of the cash price for every item sold.
Dual pricing has long been popular among businesses such as gas stations. With this new offering, VizyPay extends it to small businesses. As a result, consumers will be able to save on each item that they acquire at cash price.
For businesses that want to implement dual pricing, utilising a programme such as the one provided by VizyPay is essential, as most lack the necessary software and equipment. When opting for VizyPay’s new offering, businesses need to update and display dual pricing for all their inventory and to replace prior pricing signage and disclosures with newer ones that are offered by VizyPay.
Company officials stated that the new product is in accord with the previous offerings by VizyPay, as the company seeks to become an end-to-end solution provider offering customisable technology that is tailored to the distinct requirements of every business.
In early 2023, the fintech also launched Cash Discount 2.0, an option that, as per the press release, saved SMEs USD 9 million.
Since its launch in 2017, VizyPay has developed payment solutions primarily addressed to the small business community. Through its offerings, VizyPay has marketed itself as a fintech that aims to level the playing field for SMEs.
Some of the products that the company offers are VizyPay Apps that allow businesses to manage all facets of the payment process, terminals, POS options, and mobile payments solutions.
For instance, the SwipeSimple Mobile App VizyPay enables businesses to accept card payments on the go, track customer purchase history and send receipts via email or text. Another mobile payment option provided is the Clover Go, a mobile card reader that can be used to accept payments via Wi-fi or cellular connection.
Earlier in 2023, VizyPay overhauled its payment processing app to feature an updated inventory and a help centre. The latter update enabled small businesses to reach out to the fintech and get support in 30 seconds.
