Paysend raises USD 125 mln in Series B funding round

UK-based fintech Paysend has announced that it has closed a Series B funding round of USD 125 million.

The round was led by One Peak with participation from Infravia Growth Capital, Hermes GPE Innovation Fund, and existing long-term investors including Plug and Play. Paysend will use the funding to expand its international footprint and speed up product innovation.

Paysend operates a payment platform that enables customers and businesses all around the world to pay, hold, and send money online anywhere, in any currency. The company is currently supporting connections between cards across Mastercard, Visa, China UnionPay, and local card schemes in multiple countries across the globe.
