Canada-based fintech Payfare has added Visa Direct to its platform to facilitate real-time payouts for gig workers.

Visa Direct facilitates money movement worldwide through a single integration. A Visa survey of gig workers globally showed that 89% of respondents indicated they were likely to sign up for real-time payments, while 66% responded that they would select gig companies who offered real-time payments instead of others.

By working with Visa, fintech companies like Payfare can transform traditional payment processes into differentiated digital experiences to support the financial health of the global gig workforce.

Payfare is a financial technology company, supporting digital banking and instant payment solutions for the gig workforce. The company partners with platforms and marketplaces such as Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash, to provide financial health for their workforce.
