Monday 4 July 2022 12:08 CET | News

Qatar National Bank (QNB), an important financial institution in the MENA region has announced the official launch of popular payment methods WeChat Pay and AliPay+.

QNB already counts for a broad range of payment methods accepted by its merchant network in Qatar and, through the latest integrations, become the first bank in the country to give clients access to these secure local payment methods.

Moreover, the two digital wallets base on QR code payments, which makes them convenient, and easy-to-use payment methods for both merchants and consumers, as Qatar has continuously invested in its nation-wide digitalisation process.

The partnership between QNB and Chinese-based WeChat Pay and AliPay+ will enable millions of customers to complete their transactions safely, securely, and easily. Currently, QNB counts for over 27,000 employers operating through 1,000 locations and benefits from over 4,700 ATMS for extra convenience.
