Friday 28 August 2020 11:34 CET | News

International ecommerce solutions provider Doddle has launched a free Digital Returns Solution to for US-based retailers and consumers.

According to Dealerscope, the company will offer more convenient ways to handle ecommerce shopping returns, thanks to a pilot agreement with the United States Postal Service (USPS). Therefore, the portal digitises and streamlines the returns journey for consumers with USPS label broker technology that enables a label-less returns experience.

To use the solution, the consumer is asked to enter their email address and order an ID. Afterwards, the portal shows the purchased items and allows the consumer to select which item is being returned and the reason. The consumer then receives an email with their shipping label and a map of more than 32,000 convenient drop-off locations to return the item.

Moreover, Doddle’s returns portal also allows retailers to adjust their reverse supply chains towards long-term revenue and loyalty outcomes, using real-time, actionable dashboards about what’s being returned and why, Dealer Scope reported.
