Mikrofax goes live with e-procurement and cloud based purchasing software

Mikrofax, a provider of web-based e-procurement software and services, has unveiled that The Canadian Government of Nunavut (GN) have switched to live running on Mikrofaxs software-as-a-service (SaaS) e-procurement platform.

The GN purchasing department will use the system for managing electronic requests, purchase order (PO) generation and tracking and Request for Tender issuance and management of contract awards.

As well as being purchasing software, the application suite also handles other elements of the buying cycle such as order receipts, inventory control, asset management, request for information (RFI), request for quotation (RFQ), vendor punchout and invoice matching together with interfacing to a number of different external third party accounting solutions.

Founded in 1988, Mikrofax provides pre-packaged and customized software and has worked with a number of different clients to provide e-procurement software.
