E-commerce fraud prevention start up Trustev has secured USD 500,000 from enterprise-company VCs Notion Capital to capitalise on the e-commerce boom.

The company has revealed plans to use the capital to fund its expansion across the US as well as invest in the development of its anti-fraud and payment-protection solutions for e-commerce. Trustev’s passive authentication technologies work in the background, confirming and securing the transaction, while its active authentication technologies work to confirm the user’s identity before the purchase is complete.
