The startup developed the solution with EPFL’s Security and Cryptography Laboratory, and aims to reduce the size of its scanners. The company’s goal is for its scanner size be halved in the next three months, enabling mobile use.
In addition, Switzerland-based Jura Hospital is testing the biometric identification system in order to meet requirements for hospitals and other institutions under the country’s E-Health initiative.
