Zip Co has collaborated with Google to bring the benefits of Google Wallet to iOS and to launch a secure and optimised experience across both iOS and Android.
Following this announcement, Zip Pay and Zip Plus customers will have the possibility to access their Zip Visa Card across the entire Google ecosystem, including Chrome Autofill, Google Pay Online, and Google services. This process will make it easier to spend anywhere Visa is accepted, globally and in-store.
In addition, the new feature will enable a customer’s Zip Visa Card on both Android and iOS systems. With the need for no extra steps in the existing card provisioning flow, their Zip Visa Card will also be added to all their compatible devices for use across Google. Both companies will continue to focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of clients and users in an ever-evolving market, while prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry as well.

At the same time, this rollout reflects the shared commitment to making everyday payments faster, easier, and more accessible for all customers, as well as unlocking financial potential together. Alongside the rise of smart payments, the overall goal of the partnership is to provide clients with access to flexible payment options.
Furthermore, iOS customers will see a brand new `Add to Google Wallet` button, and with just a couple of taps, their Zip Visa Card will be added across their Google account. Clients will have the possibility to experience the benefit of optimised convenience and flexibility when leveraging their Zip cards online in Google Chrome, as well as other Google suite of solutions.
