Users can pre-convert their funds into Thai Baht on YouTrip

Recent currency fluctuations have seen the Thai Baht (THB) rise to 25.19 per Singapore Dollar (SGD) as 15 of February, marking a 3.20% increase since 9 of February. This offers potential savings through strategic currency exchange. The new THB wallet allows users to pre-convert SGD to THB via a mobile app at favourable rates, minimising currency risks. YouTrip is also planning to launch a Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) wallet soon due to increasing transaction volumes and user demand.

YouTrip officials emphasised that user feedback and spending insights are important for shaping their product and innovation roadmap. The introduction of the THB and the upcoming MYR wallets provide a valuable payment experience. Moreover, the return of Travel Wednesday’s deals through YouTrip Perks allows the company to help travellers to save more and make the most of their trips.

YouTrip provides users with competitive exchange rates and the convenience of 12 in-app wallets for storing currencies, including THB and MYR. The platform also features Travel Wednesdays, offering savings through YouTrip Perks on flights, hotels, and activities for holiday planning. Users can benefit from exclusive deals until 2 April, 2025, with partners like Trip.com, Klook, Agoda, Booking.com, and Expedia, featuring cashback and vouchers for various travel options.
