Xsolla has announced an expansion of its platform support capabilities, aiming to provide secure and efficient cross-platform monetisation solutions for developers.
Following this announcement, with the use of the SDKs for Windows Stores and the Epic Games Store, the new strategic partnership with Pley, and the launch of the Xsolla Discord Bot, developers will have the possibility to implement secure, streamlined commerce across PC, mobile, web, and community platforms.
In addition, the company will continue to focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of clients and users in an ever-evolving market, while prioritising the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry as well.
More information on Xsolla’s platform expansion
According to the official press release, included in the key platform expansions that are now available to developers are the SDK for Windows stores (PC developers will have the possibility to access flexible monetisation tools via Xsolla SDK for Windows Stores, offering secure checkout flows and cross-platform SKU synchronisation for multiplatform titles available on Windows across a variety of game stores), SDK for Epic Game Store C (which will provide the capability to scale by going direct-to-consumer with Xsolla’s SDK for the Epic Games Store, developed to enable smooth integration, dual billing options for mobile, synchronised inventory, localised native checkout experiences, as well as built-in support for subscriptions, recurring billing, Buy Button, and Web Shop), and Xsolla Discord Bot: Conversational Commerce (which will allow developers to activate commerce directly inside Discord, turning conversations into conversion opportunities via Web Shop integration).
In addition, the expansion also includes Pley Partnership, which allows mobile developers to launch web-based versions of their games with minimal effort through Xsolla’s partnership with Pley. This collaboration combines Pley’s cloud-based toolchain for Unity games with Xsolla’s global payment infrastructure in order to unlock new revenue streams, diversify their strategies, and connect more directly with players.
This initiative marks another important step in Xsolla’s ongoing initiative to democratise game commerce. As platform rules tighten and player journeys become more complex, Xsolla will continue to focus on meeting developers’ needs, as well as enabling them to grow their games in their preferred way.
