As part of the agreement, European merchants will be able to expand their range of services by integrating automatic 100% VAT refunds for Chinese customers at the point of sale.
The latest addition among the cooperation partners is MCM, a luxury goods and accessories retailer. The payments company will integrate the mobile payment solution via the new digital platform Wirecard ePOS App into their existing payment infrastructure.
MCM will be able to offer Chinese customers more payment methods as well as tax refunds in real-time; statistically, shopping for luxury goods is popular among Chinese tourists.
