Wells Fargo partners Bancomer Transfer Services to expand ExpressSend remittance network

Under the terms of the agreement, Wells Fargo will extend its consumer remittance payout network distribution to seven new financial institutions across the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua and Peru. As a result, Wells Fargo’s ExpressSend customers will be able to use 35,800 remittance payout locations to send money to 15 countries in Latin America and Asia. Wells Fargo ExpressSend Remittance service can be used via telephone, online or in store.

Wells Fargo offers international remittance products to seven countries from the US. Additional participating financial intuitions and merchants include: BBVA Banco Frances (Argentina), Banco Mercantil Santa Cruz (Bolivia), Bancolombia, Banco Davivienda and BBVA Colombia, Banco BHD (Dominican Republic), Banco Atlantida and BACHonduras, Banco de Guayaquil and Banco del Austro (Ecuador), Banco Industrial S.A., Banco de Desarrollo Rural and G&T Continental (Guatemala), BBVA Bancomer, HSBC Mexico, Banorte, Banco Santander, Bansefi, Grupo FAMSA, SORIANA and Telecomm Telegrafos (Mexico), Banpro (Nicaragua), Banco Agricola and HSBC Banco Salvadoreno (El Salvador), BBVA Banco Continental and Banco de Credito del Peru, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Banco de Oro, M. Lhuillier, Metrobank and Cebuana Lhuillier, ICICI Bank (India), Vietinbank and Vietcombank (Vietnam) and Agricultural Bank of China (ABC).
