Verizon offers 36-month payment plan

Customers still have the option to fully pay for their phones or accessories at any time, but the feature is designed to provide more freedom for buyers. The policy applies to a wide array of devices, including cost-effective phones and premium flagship devices with a price tag around and over USD 1,000, and aims to lock down customer base and boost sales of premium smartphones and accessories.

The company’s new policy will be offered in all Verizon stores and comes after a similar plan was promoted by AT&T in 2021. By comparison, the country’s third important mobile carrier, T-Mobile, only offers online installment payments for 24 and 30 months.
