Univision Mastercard available in 300 US Walmart stores

The announcement is part of the company’s expansion into retail space in mainly Hispanic regions. The GPR card, launched in 2009, was designed by Univision Communications to serve the unbanked and underbanked Hispanic population.

The company didn’t provide a purchase price for cards sold online, just the purchase price at retail, which is USD 4.95 in grocery stores and USD 3.95 in Family Dollar stores.
