The app is a ‘3-in-1’ mix, allowing users to pay with their smartphone, save money, and invest large or small amounts in 100+ stocks, in ETFs or in 13 selected cryptocurrencies. Yuh promises ‘low-to-no-fees’, meaning that if low fees have to be incurred, full transparency is promised. Accordingly, there are no basic fees, neither for account management nor for payments, peer-to-peer (P2P) transfers or for the debit card. The fee for buying or selling shares is 0.5% and 1% for cryptocurrencies.
With the launch of the app, a new Swiss cryptocurrency called Swissqoin is also being launched for users, allowing them to participate in Yuh’s success. If users open a Yuh account and make a deposit of at least CHF 500, they will receive 500 Swissqoins free of charge. Additional Swissqoins can be earned and traded with other users through activity on the app.
