Klarna to support the frontline response to COVID-19 with ASOS Giveback Day

Consequently, Klarna decided to donate GBP 1, USD 1 or EUR 1 for every Klarna transaction placed at ASOS globally on 29 April 2020. 

This dedicated Giveback Day will take place internationally (in Germany, Finland, Norway, the UK, the US, Sweden), enabling Klarna and ASOS customers to take part in the ICRC’s relief efforts against the pandemic. Giveback day will help vulnerable people, such as those living in countries affected by conflict. Money raised for the ICRC will go towards activities such as sanitation to prevent the spread of the disease, support for vital health infrastructure such as hospitals, and towards ensuring access to clean water for different communities. 

Klarna has not placed a limit on the amount that it will donate as part of the Giveback Day, and it has guaranteed to honour every Klarna online transaction placed at ASOS in the relevant currency.
