Following this announcement, as part of the partnership, all Revolut users will also be able to get up to EUR 25 back after registering and spending their first EUR 5. Wizz Air customers will be given the possibility to check out in one click when they use Revolut Pay in the WIZZ app.
The collaboration aims to make the process of buying tickets more securely and efficient, while both companies will continue to focus on meeting the needs of clients and users in an ever-evolving market. In addition, they will also prioritise the process of remaining compliant with the regulatory requirements and laws of the industry as well.
The collaboration aims to build customer loyalty, as shoppers will be enabled to earn RevPoints on every Revolut Pay purchase, as well as to turn those points into discounts or air miles at no additional costs to them. At the same time, the deal is expected to tap into competitive payment processing fees, as well as high authorisation rates and improved support from Revolut’s team.
Furthermore, Revolut Pay will maximise the conversion of clients during the payment flow, as its streamlined checkout experience will continue to enable users to pay faster, easier, and safer.
The initiative comes at a time when new investors are looking for ways to get a stake in Revolut, as well as pressuring the company to hold a new secondary stock offer after the one that was held in the summer of 2024. According to officials of the company, Revolut is currently not working on a share offering, as the firm’s management will need to authorise such transactions.
