WireWallet allows both SWIFT and SEPA payments

Tuesday 19 May 2020 08:30 CET | News

Cyprus-based payments platform, WireWallet, has opened SWIFT channels for international fund transfers, along with already supported SEPA.

This will facilitate SWIFT payments to businesses categorized under high-risk. To date, these businesses could only use SEPA to transfer funds within Europe. The platform also partnered with banks in Germany and Estonia which will allow its users to access global currencies.

Wirewallet’s users also have access to open banking with the platform’s banking partnerships, meaning all IBANs linked to any banks from WireWallet’s portfolio can be accessed from the customer’s account. The platform also allows sub-accounts to be issued under their master IBANs.
