Wincor Nixdorf Introduce ProCash 1500

This system is a Wincor Nixdorf response to the requirements of postal service businesses looking to move cash withdrawals and stamp vending across to a single machine. To date, traditional self-service scenarios in post office branches have featured firm delineation between postal services and banking services. However, running two monofunction machines is often not economical, especially in branches with low footcounts or in off-premises locations. This is where the ProCash 1500 offers a genuine alternative. The machine, presented at PostExpo, can print off individual stamps and also issue books of stamps. For single-stamp printing, the cash tray is replaced by a printer module. Stamp books are issued from an additional cash tray, and one of the remaining trays is used for dispensing cash. In addition to standard cash and stamp issuing functionality and on-screen balance enquiries, the unit can also be enhanced to offer functions such as electronic purse top-ups/draw-downs and also printing of receipts and confirmations. If required, the unit can also come complete with multimedia components plus speaker and headset. The simple user-interface and optional visual instructions on all deposit and issue modules, as well as Braille features, all make the machine very easy to use. The ProCash 1500 is easy to install and comes with a color LCD display as standard.
