VakaTrip partners with Nuvei, increasing conversion rates by 20 percent

VakaTrip, a China-based travel platform, has teamed up with Nuvei, a global payment services provider, to enhance card payment acceptance from its international customer base. 

Leveraging Nuvei’s local acquiring capabilities in 47 countries, VakaTrip optimises the settlement process for smooth and efficient fund transfers. Additionally, Nuvei’s risk management solutions help secure transactions and minimise fraud.

Nuvei’s access to over 600 alternative payment methods, available through a single integration, enables VakaTrip to offer all relevant payment options to its customers in every market where it operates.
  
Since joining forces with Nuvei, VakaTrip has seen improvements in its business performance. Successful payment conversion rates have increased by 20%, and the company has also achieved a 15% reduction in total
payment costs, further enhancing its payment performance.

Recent developments from Nuvei 


In July 2023, Nuvei partnered with employee pay provider CloudPay to enable the latter’s customers to access faster and more flexible payroll solutions. Nuvei's technology and worldwide coverage offered important benefits for CloudPay customers who need to process payroll quickly, with flexibility and certainty. This partnership also enables various global salary payment options, like using Visa Direct to send income payments to cards, reducing payment time from several days to just 30 minutes or less. 

Also in July 2023, Nuvei had announced an extension of their existing global partnership with Plaid to support a wider range of businesses accepting bank-based payments for multiple use cases. With Nuvei's presence in 47 markets for local acquiring and Plaid's network covering 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, businesses in various regions worldwide would have the opportunity to enhance their online checkout options with pay-by-bank experiences. By their collaboration, Nuvei and Plaid aim to simplify online bank transfer payments, making it more accessible for consumers and offering merchants a viable alternative to conventional card payments.
