UPM-Kymmene Takes Novos E-Solution Overseas

UPM-Kymmene will extend its adoption of Novos Rondo software, to its foreign locations in France, the UK and the US during 2004.Its aim is to streamline its operations through faster checking and approval rounds for purchase invoices, cutting down on paper invoices and switching to their digital archival throughout the company. The firms Group licence will enable the global adoption of Novos solution, already used in Finland by business units Raflatac, Schauman Wood, United Sawmills Ltd, UPM-Kymmene Metsä, UPM-Kymmenes headquarters, Jämsänkoski and Kaipola, Tervasaari, Kajaani and Rauma. Six others will move to Rondo by the end of the year. The Rondo solution is based on electronic invoice reception, processing, approval and archival, with its scaleability to various-sized environments enabling the software to process large masses of different kinds of document, even tens of millions. With a special emphasis on data security, all processed data enjoy thoroughgoing protection, while Rondo also fulfils all of the Accounting Acts requirements.
