The Magicard Opera color ID card printer comes complete with Magicard ID badging software and Windows drivers, all for US$1399. (ââ€Å¡Ã‚¬1330). Users simply add their own PC and web-cam to have a complete badging system.

The drop-in dye-sublimation ribbon cassette and card dispenser means that the Magicard Opera is easy to setup. Hand-feeding of cards one at a time means no card feeding jams and the dye-sublimation technology embeds the image into the plastic card surface for high-quality, scratch and fade resistant images. As the smallest and lightest color ID card printer at only 8 inches (200mm) each side and 7 pounds (3.2kg), the Magicard Opera is easily portable, and its attractive design makes it great for use in company reception areas and for hospitality or retail applications. Within the compact dimensions is a fully-featured color ID card printer: - Prints a full color edge-to-edge image in 30 seconds using dye-sublimation technology. - At no extra consumables cost, a HoloKote anti-copying watermark is printed across the entire card surface. - Magnetic stripe card encoding (available as an option). Magicard color ID card printers range from the hand-fed Opera and Alto, through the rapid, robust and reliable Rio and Tango models, up to our top-of-the-range reverse transfer Prima.
