The installation includes more than 60 IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals to manage all food and beverage and spa transactions throughout the property, replacing Tropicanas existing POS system. A key motivator in moving forward with InfoGenesis was the rapid return on investment, plus Revelations use of state-of-the-art, Microsoft-based open system technology. Revelation by InfoGenesis is specifically engineered for hospitality and foodservice operations. IBM SurePOS terminals have been installed in 17 profit centers at Tropicana including restaurants and bars, room service, retail outlets, the casino floor, and the salon and spa. Microsoft-based Revelation was also installed by all ten of the Tropicanas lessees, providing Tropicana management real-time access to sales data and comprehensive enterprise reporting for the entire property.
