The co-branded, closed-loop card solution is powered by KHI, affiliate of TreviPay, a payments expert in the government, commercial aviation, and marine fuel bunkering markets, and is designed to help not only FBOs, but also flight support service organizations who serve the general and defence aviation industries, as well as their customers. Layering TreviPay’s payments technology onto KHI’s merchant network will enable companies to provide clients with the ability to issue customers a co-branded card that is accepted across the aviation suppliers’ network. TreviPay Aviation Network’s offering consists of simplified and consolidated billing of all aviation expenses, such as fuel and ground services.
Running on an inter-dependent network of vendors and merchants, the aviation industry includes aviation customers who are looking for support in securing fuel and services, while simultaneously being able to provide the best value to retain customers and business partners.
The TreviPay Aviation Network is the result of a combination between TreviPay’s experience in payments and invoicing technology and KHI’s global network of 7,000 ICAO locations and over 22,000 terminals in 220 countries and territories transacting in 56 currencies. TreviPay representatives have stated that having the TreviPay Aviation Network leverage the company’s technology and KHI’s network will enable FBOs and trip support services to offer their customers convenience when it comes to payments and invoicing beyond the locations they travel from, thus driving loyalty and increasing their customers’ purchasing power.
Ability to issue a co-branded card solution;
Drive competitive advantage due to branded cards that will deliver billing and pricing alliances to clients, while also enabling FBOs to track the customer purchasing activity and issue loyalty rewards;
Aviation specialised invoicing and service, eliminating the need for paper receipts to invoice customers, as the invoicing process is digitised. TreviPay manages the processing, invoicing, AR, support, disputes, collections, and reconciliation, and its network is designed specifically for the aviation network, with invoices being customised with every detail, including the tail number of the plane;
The TreviPay Aviation Network’s closed-loop card will enable FBOs to save on their expenses, as the fees they need to pay are lower than when using an open-loop card.
From a cardholder perspective, the benefits brought forth by the TreviPay Aviation Network are:
A global aviation payment card accepted by all vendors at an FBO within the KHI network, with FBO customers no longer having to pay multiple service providers for one landing;
Tail-specific reporting and receipts, with customers receiving billing in a timely manner, with a single, consolidated invoice per stop that includes transactional data to Level III, with tail number reconciliation;
Controls to eliminate friction, such as having negotiated prices locked in so that to avoid billing confusion, and purchasing controls between cardholders and suppliers to reduce invoice disputes.
The TreviPay Aviation Network implementation follows the July 2022 launch of TreviPay’s specialized networks for the needs of businesses of all sizes: the Private Network for large enterprises, the TreviPay Network for midmarket businesses and the Small Business Supplier Network for small businesses.
