Textron Financial, has selected edocs technology platform to provide online invoicing, payment, reporting, and self-service for customers and dealers across multiple lines of Textron Financial’s business.

With the solutions deployed using edocs’ software, Textron Financial will increase customer convenience and satisfaction and shorten overall payment cycles. It will also significantly reduce the time and costs associated with customer service, inventory management, and invoice and payment processing. Textron Financial is a diversified commercial finance company with over $9 billion in managed and serviced finance receivables. It has core businesses in Aircraft Finance, Asset-Based Lending, Distribution Finance, Golf Finance, Resort Finance, and Structured Capital. Textron Financial also provides financing programs for products manufactured by its parent company, Textron Inc. Initially, Textron Financial will implement the edocs platform for its Distribution Finance Group to facilitate invoicing, inventory management, and payment with dealers for whom it provides inventory finance services. The edocs solution will allow the Distribution Finance Group and its dealers to easily access and update account information in real-time instead of by mail or phone. Dealers can go online to quickly answer routine questions, check invoice, payment and inventory status, and receive personalized communications based on actual transaction history. Some of the new services enabled by edocs’ software include electronic invoice and statement presentment, extensive reporting, robust payment options, inventory management, and sorting, filtering and searching capabilities. All of the functionality is tailored to the specific demands of inventory finance operations.
