TESS Payments receives PSP licence from QCB

White-label payment gateway provider Akurateco has announced that TESS Payments, its Qatari partner, received a PSP licence from the Qatar Central Bank.  

In a bid to comply with Qatar’s financial regulatory landscape’s requirements, Akurateco under the strategic collaboration with TESS Payments performed an on-premise setup of its software Microsoft Azure Cloud and supported the latter in securing the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certification. The current move further solidifies Akurateco’s commitment to sustaining appropriate security standards. In addition, showcased by its accreditation with the TESS PSP licence, Akurateco’s technology is compliant and reliable under the regulatory framework, with the accreditation underlining the company’s focus on the security of its solutions, which are developed to meet industry values.
