Following this announcement, Stripe is set to leverage Everlink’s Direct Connector states into the Interac Inter-Member Network (IMN), as well as to employ the processing platform to facilitate secure and efficient in-person debit transactions for its merchants. After signing with Everlink for Host-to-Host Interac debit transactions and related services, Stripe aims to launch several products, scheduled to go live before the end of 2023.
The collaboration is expected to enable customers to benefit from both contact and contactless payments in the region of Canada. Everlink will ensure that all Stripe devices are current with Interac’s operating regulations through its device certification products. In addition, both companies will focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and demands of their customers and clients, while prioritising remaining compliant with the requirements and laws of the industry.
Stripe has multiple collaborations and developments in the last couple of months, covering several different geographic areas around the world.
In November 2023, Stripe announced its partnership with Vesta in order to provide fraud prevention and risk protection solutions that aimed to safeguard merchants and traders form fraudulent transactions. Following this strategic deal, Vesta Payment Guarantee was set to incorporate Stripe Radar risk scores to offer a secure and comprehensive fraud and revenue protection methods that increased transaction approval rates, as well as prevented first-party and third-party chargebacks.
According to the press release published at the time, the companies intended to make their collaboration advantageous to traders and businesses who were at risk due to high fraud or extensive disputes. Merchants were expected to be enabled to access the Vesta Payment Guarantee on the Stripe App Marketplace in H1 2024. Vesta also focused on incorporating Stripe Connect, a product that was designed to give businesses the possibility to facilitate purchases and payments between sellers and third-party buyers in a more efficient way.
At the beginning of the same month, US-based management platform Zen Business announced its decision to integrate with Stripe in order to optimise the manner in which small and medium-sized enterprises and businesses (SMEs, SMBs) managed their financial operations. The partnership combined Stripe’s secure and user-friendly payment processing offerings with ZenBusiness’ Money Pro, a solution that was developed for small firm owners that wanted to track all mileage, expenses, tax deductions, and income streams in real time.
In addition, Money Pro was set to provide customers with the possibility to save money each year on their tax bill through the process of calculating valuable tax deductions, as well as automating their financial records.
