Following this announcement, the Stripe Terminal is expected to enable in-person payments for retailers and customers that leverage the Just Walk Out technology. Amazon is set to use Stripe Connect in order to route payments for shoppers to businesses and firms as well.
In addition, merchants and traders in the region of Australia and Canada will be given the possibility to leverage Stripe Terminal’s WisePad3 reader, which is attached to physical entry gates, while Stripe will automatically process the transaction after the guest leaves.
