SortLogic SYSTEMS, a division of Omni-Soft, Inc., will showcase several new operations-enhancing technology components for financial institutions and transaction processors at the BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo, November 16-19, in Las Vegas.

Visitors to SortLogics booth, No. 2098, can see presentations on some of the company’s latest products, including tools for remote deposit capture, check image exchange, and Internet banking. All of these software solutions are designed especially for the emerging electronic banking environment. Visitors to the booth also can learn about SortLogics flagship 3890 Emulation product, which is now installed on more than 700 document sorters across 55 organizations. Complete details about SortLogic 3890 Emulation are available at www.sortlogic.com. At the conference, attendees can receive presentations on the new Remote Deposit Capture component from SortLogic. IBM 3890-compliant and able to operate without modification with all major check processing control systems (including SuperMICR and CPCS), SortLogic Remote Deposit Capture facilitates electronic distributed capture and processing at bank branches, remote check and lockbox operations, and the offices of corporate depositors. With this innovation, users can present electronic deposits directly to the host, eliminating the need for an additional high-speed check processing pass. The modular software enables a financial institution or payment processor to image-enable its operations, and begin electronic check presentment, with truncation fully under its control. Versions of the software especially designed for check or remittance and lockbox operations are available. This component-based remote capture framework greatly speeds roll out, eliminates the risk and cost of other solutions, limits potential disruption to existing paper workflows, and allows the bank to maintain its paper check processing as long as it wants. The software co-exists with most teller systems. At the BAI Retail Delivery Conference and Expo, SortLogic will promote the benefits of the SortLogic Image Exchange Gateway to financial institutions. A SuperMICR and CPCS-compatible platform for the development and deployment of image exchange functionality, the software speeds image exchange ramp-up and eliminates the need for a separate image system. The software connects to a user’s host as an image-enabled IBM 3890/XP, presenting images online or offline, supporting both cash letter and in-clearing files as input, and managing all incoming and outgoing X9.37 exchange files. SortLogic also will showcase its Internet Banking suite of turnkey components that provide complete functionality for developing and deploying online banking services and products. The tools offer functionality for viewing account balances, making transfers, paying bills, making stop payment requests, ordering checks, and viewing check images and data. SortLogic SYSTEMS partners can sell the tools integrated as a full-featured standalone Internet banking solution, or embed individual modules in their applications. SortLogic SYSTEMS electronic banking components help eliminate the boundaries and limitations of legacy hardware platforms and systems architectures by enabling capture of and access to critical data, allowing faster Check 21 implementations and increased productivity. SortLogic SYSTEMS wants Check 21 connectivity to be simple and easy.
