Shopping.com Serves Record 20 Million Holiday Shoppers As Online Buying Reaches All-Time High

Shopping.com has served a record number of holiday shoppers since the official start of the holiday shopping season on Friday, November 28, 2003, (the day after Thanksgiving, which is otherwise known as Black Friday).

In the intervening days, Shopping.com helped 20 million people use the power of information to make the best buying decisions when shopping for holiday gifts. In the same period, Shopping.com delivered 14 million new customer leads to merchants across the Shopping.com Network, resulting in an estimated $55 million in sales. Shopping.com, which saw a dramatic rise in traffic from the Northeast throughout last weekends blizzard, also stated that Monday, December 8th broke all previous one-day records for traffic, lead referral and revenue. That day alone, the company helped more than 2.05 million shoppers -- or 35 shoppers per second -- find, compare and buy the perfect gift.
