Seceti S.p.A Selects ACI Worldwides Fraud Detection Solution

Italian card payment processor Seceti S.p.A, has licensed ACI Worldwides ACI Proactive Risk Manager solution.Responding to the needs of their Italian banking customers to combat rising plastic card fraud, Seceti S.p.A will implement ACIs fraud detection software to help reduce debit card fraud and provide a fully integrated authorization and fraud detection service. Seceti S.p.A provides services to 140 member banks in Italy. Seceti S.p.A has adopted a proactive approach to fraud prevention and detection addressing concerns expressed by its customers and the Italian Banking Association about rising levels of fraud in the region. Seceti S.p.A will leverage the softwares custom models and expert rules-based workflow strategies to help banks monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. Secetis customers can subscribe to the service via web access to closely monitor fraud alerts. They will be able to closely monitor any fraud alerts generated by ACI Proactive Risk Manager in near real-time. Banks can then promptly react and contact a cardholder if a transaction appears suspicious. The service will bring significant benefits to the banks primarily through cost savings as potential fraud losses are greatly reduced. In addition, by using Secetis integrated card processing, authorization and fraud detection service, the banks will benefit from a high level of responsiveness to changes in fraud patterns and activity levels. Seceti S.p.A will manage the hardware, software and rules-based workflows and engage closely with ACI Worldwide to ensure workflow is continually updated to meet customer needs. The initial workflow rules will be based on specifications set by Visa. The software will run on the Stratus ftServer high-availability platform for Microsoft Windows.
