SAP Canada Joins Forces with American Express and IBM Canada

Under terms of the agreement, American Express and SAP Canada will work closely together to distribute and provide support services for SAP Business One - The American Express Edition and will develop additional specialized vertical-industry editions for Canadian SMB organizations. SAP Business One - The American Express Edition is offered exclusively by American Express and its Canadian channel partner, The RAM Group. SAP Business One - The American Express Edition is an easy, affordable and powerful solution designed to address the specific needs of emerging and dynamically growing businesses. SAP Business One provides real-time access to integrated financial, operational and sales management information, and helps companies make more profitable decisions, grow their business and stay ahead of the competition. The SAP Business One components include financial (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking), distribution (inventory management, purchase order processing, sales order processing) and customer relationship management (CRM). The American Express Edition extends the SAP Business One functionality with integrated wireless warehouse management, electronic data interchange (EDI), document management, credit card processing and sales and use tax. In addition, the solution can be delivered preinstalled on the IBM eServer xSeries platform, bringing the benefits of IBMs mainframe- inspired technology to Intel customers. Canadian SMBs deploying the IBM solution will have the ability to leverage IBM Express offerings, designed and developed specifically for mid-market companies, as well as financing through IBM Global Financing.
