Safeways New CoinMaster Machines Available Across US

The New CoinMaster machines, are available in over 1,275 Safeway stores (including Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Dominicks, Genuardis, and Pak n Save,).The CoinMaster machines, utilize technology that cleans coins to keep machines from clogging and enables the machines to accurately count coins at the rapid rate of 600 a minute. The machine quickly prints a voucher with the coin count for instant redemption at any checkout lane inside the grocery store. Loose change in this case is found cash in the consumers pocket. Many of the users of CoinMaster spend at least a portion of their "coins into cash" to pay for groceries or convert it into debit cards, money orders or other financial products offered at Safeways Customer Service centers. Currently, CoinMaster machines are in 82 percent of the 1,580 Safeway company stores in the U.S. which include Safeway, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Dominicks, Genuardis, Pak n Save, Vons, and Pavilions.
