Diebold and S2 Systems has completed certification testing to enable S2s OpeN/2 payment solution to drive Diebolds Opteva advanced-function automated teller machines (ATMs) using Agilis 91x software. This agile, multi-vendor software solution enables ATM deployers to move to a single Windows-based application and protect their existing investments in states and screens while incrementally upgrading ATM delivery channels. Diebolds Opteva family of advanced-function ATMs and cash dispensers provide a complete range of exclusive benefits to financial institutions, as well as enhanced security features, increased availability, improved usability and an enhanced maintenance interface. The flexibility of Opteva gives financial institutions the ability to customize solutions to delight consumers and positively impact ATM delivery channel performance. Agilis 91x is an off-the-shelf application in Diebolds Agilis family of Microsoft Windows-based ATM software that allows ATM deployers to move to a single application for their multi-vendor ATMs with little or no custom development effort using the Diebold 911/912 message protocol. Migration expense and risk are minimized because customers can use existing state and screen host loads to get up and running quickly, and then enhance the screens at their own pace to take advantage of Web services and Windows technology.
