Regions Financial Operational Risk Manager Yolanda P. Landy Dutton will serve as chair of the BITS Security and Risk Assessment (SRA) Executive Committee beginning in April. BITS is a nonprofit consortium of 100 of the largest financial institutions in the United States.

Dutton currently serves as vice chair of the BITS SRA Executive Committee and, when she becomes chair, will lead the committee through 2005. The committee is made up of executives from 15 BITS member companies representing some of the nations largest banking, securities and insurance organizations. It directs the activities of the SRA Working Group, a unique industry forum that allows financial services companies to work together in a confidential, noncompetitive environment. Dutton has 20 years of experience at Regions, having worked in information security, financial auditing and information systems auditing. She earned a bachelors degree from the University of Alabama and is a certified internal auditor through the Institute of Internal Auditors. Dutton, a member of the BITS Lab Governance Committee, also sits on the Financial Institutions Data Evaluation and Security LLC (FIDES) Board of Managers.
