qbts MultiPoint EFT Processor Supports Conversion of 47 Credit Unions At EPL

47 credit unions have converted simultaneously to qbts MultiPoint EFT Processor running at the EPL data center in Birmingham, AL. The conversion of the 47 credit unions was performed with an interface to the eFundss EFT processing platform using the ISO 8583 message format for ATM, POS, and debit card activity.EPL is in the process of converting its credit union clients to a new core data processing product called i-POWER, a J2EE-based application that provides all of the data processing services needed for a credit union in a Sun and Oracle environment. As part of the conversion plans, MultiPoint EFT Processor was selected to run in the same Sun and Oracle environment to provide connectivity to various EFT network switch platforms. The first credit union was installed on MultiPoint EFT Processor in September 2003 with an interface to the Fiserv EFT/CNS switch platform and additional credit unions have converted to the platform since the initial conversion.
