qbt releases MultiPoint Integrator on Sun and Linux

qbt MultiPoint Integrator product is now supporting Sun Solaris and Linux platforms. MultiPoint Integrator was originally released in 1997 on the Microsoft Windows platform using a Microsoft SQL Server database.

MultiPoint Integrator has been successfully running on the Sun Solaris platform using an Oracle 9i database for over three months, primarily supporting ATM and debit card processing in a 24X7 environment. MultiPoint Integrator has been running on the Linux operating system in qbts test lab and is now available for commercial release. MultiPoint Integrator has always been able to connect systems running on multiple platforms in an integrated environment. Now, MultiPoint Integrator itself can run on multiple platforms from many different vendors. The initial release of MultiPointâ„¢ Integrator for Sun is running in the data center of EPL, Inc., a data processing and technology provider to credit unions MultiPoint Integrator has been supporting thousands of ATM and debit card transactions for one beta credit union. In the first quarter of 2004, EPL is planning to migrate additional EFT network interfaces for over 40 credit unions to one MultiPoint Integrator machine running on Sun.
