Purepay Receivables Automation partners RDM Corporation for remote capture service

Payment processing provider Purepay Receivables Automation has signed an agreement with RDM Corporation, a US provider of software for the electronic commerce, to deliver financial institutions remote deposit capture (RDC) services.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Purepay RDC service is to provide users with a scanner, required documentation, training, technical support and system access to deposit checks. Via RDC, bank customers can scan checks, money orders, bank drafts and remittance stubs, balance the batches and send them to the bank for deposit. After receiving them, Purepay’s ItemAge Express processes and deposits these batches. A fulfillment company is to be held responsible for scanner fulfillment and support and is to provide hardware distribution, hardware swaps, as well as technical support.

RDM Corporation provides remote check deposit systems and online image management and transaction processing services, as well as print quality control and image quality systems. Purepay Receivables Automation offers distributed capture, receivables management and electronic billing and payment services.
