PureEdge Solutions has signed a multi-year agreement with Global eXchange Services (GXS). As a result of the agreement, GXS will integrate PureEdge e-forms into the GXS Trading GridSM.

The GXS Trading Grid is a real-time platform developed exclusively to enable and streamline cross-enterprise business processes. The Grid is one of the worlds largest electronic business communities -- serving over 30,000 businesses worldwide including over half of the Fortune 500. The Trading Grid offers unique capabilities that ensure synchronized product and price information, optimize inventory levels and demand forecasts, speed the overall execution of supply chains and ultimately provide true end-to-end business process visibility. GXS will incorporate the PureEdge WebForm Server to deliver XML-based e-forms to customers quickly and efficiently via the Trading Grid platform. The new Trading Grid allows customers and suppliers to continue using their preferred method of order submission. Industry specific forms-based business processes enhanced and streamlined by GXS include product information management, demand planning, shipment labeling, and electronic invoicing. By incorporating PureEdge e-forms into its offering, GXS will significantly reduce the time it takes to introduce new web forms on its Trading Grid. GXS will be able to create rich, customized forms specific to the needs of their large Retailer, Automotive, and High Tech Manufacturing communities active in the Trading Grid. Founded on industry and technology-specific open standards, PureEdge XML-based e-forms provide a platform that enables greater interoperability for customers and partner organizations that realize increased efficiencies and lower operating costs associated with entering, accessing and sharing information across organizations. PureEdge secure e-forms enable government and business organizations to achieve regulatory and legislative compliance through provision of tamper-proof, auditable e-records.
