Providian Selected by Bookspan for Affinity Credit Card

Providian Financial and Bookspan, are launching an affinity credit card for members of Bookspans more than 30 book clubs. With the new Readers Reward card, which rewards cardholders for frequent use of their cards, individuals will earn points for dollars spent, which they can use toward the purchase of books and other Bookspan merchandise. Customers will also receive a $25 "free book" reward certificate the first time they use the card. The Readers Reward card will be issued by Providian National Bank. Marketing will include Bookspan channels such as new member welcome packets and club catalogs, as well as direct mail. For more information or to apply, go to www.readersrewards.com.
